Ford C-Max Breaks Hybrid Sales Record

The new 2013 Ford C-Max is officially the fastest-selling brand-new hybrid vehicle ever created.  Within just the first two months of availability, the new C-Max Hybrid sold over 8,000 units which is around three times faster than the first months sales of the Prius or the Insight Hybrid.  Within America, the C-Max is only available in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. In response to the large number of sales, Ford's group marketing manager of Electrification C.J. O’Donnell, told media, “Dealers are seeing an overwhelmingly positive response to C-MAX hybrids and are excited to finally take on Prius, with some offering comparison test drives right on their lots.  Our customers also are excited to have a fresh hybrid option, with leading fuel economy that does not sacrifice driving fun, performance and technology – choices typically not offered with hybrids.”

With 60% of new car buyers considering a hybrid vehicle before they buy, many are choosing the C-Max as the superior choice. For more information about the C-Max Hybrid, or to take a look at any Ford vehicle, contact Pierre Ford, proudly serving the Burien area.
