The new Ford Explorer in Seattle has the distinction of being one of the full-size SUVs left that refuses to get more compact and less powerful. Because of fuel prices and environmental impact, fuel-efficiency has become extremely important, causing many automakers to decrease the size of their SUVs, creating a whole new crossover SUV segment. This is good for those who are not looking for the cargo space and hauling power of a full-size SUV.
The 2013 Ford Explorer Limited is a higher trim level of the 2013 Explorer, and adds many luxury and convenience items. The 2013 Explorer Limited is powered by a V6 engine providing 290 horsepower and has a rating of 24 MPG on the highway. It also has 255 lb ft of torque and can tow up to 5,000 lbs.
