The History of Pierre Ford in Seattle, WA

History of Pierre Ford

Founded by Bill Pierre Sr. in 1947, Pierre Ford is proud to be so many Washington Ford enthusiasts' go-to location for all things automotive. Now in its third generation of ownership, our Ford dealership in Seattle, WA, has operated according to the -- do unto others as you would have them do to you -- since we first opened our doors many years ago. This simple philosophy has guided our family-owned and -operated business through the past several decades, and we're happy to have served our community and made a positive impact on so many people's lives.

We've been committed to our community ever since the beginning. We originally started in the location of what is now our service/parts department, and it would even close when the fire department bell rang because so many of our staff members were volunteer firefighters. As the years went by, Bill Sr. became known as "The Mayor of Little Old Lake City," and thanks to the location's continued success, he decided to build a sales showroom by Highway 522 (also known as 'Lake City Way') in the early 1960s. Ever since, Pierre Ford has offered the exceptional Ford sales and service experience so many Seattle Ford fans love, and we've been doing it for longer than the roads have been paved and before the Space Needle was built.
